Operating room and recovery

Operating room blocks:

The Nursing Service of four operating blocks has been entrusted to our management, which allows us to serve the specialties of: Traumatology, Orthopedics, Thoracic Surgery, Esophageal Tract Surgery, Pancreatic Surgery, Rectal Surgery, Hand Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology , Otorino, Urology and Senology.

The nursing staff is composed of Nurse professionals of Anesthesia and Room Instrumentalists who collaborate, for each intervention, with the Surgeon and with the Anesthetist: for years they have been confronted daily with the different specialties indicated, within a path of growth daily and constant, to ensure unchanged service standards, both quantitative and qualitative.

Our Nurse professionals are entrusted with the activities ranging from induction to waking up the patient in collaboration with the Anesthetist and Instrumentalists with organizational, management and operational activities in collaboration with the surgical team.

The interventions are of high complexity and involve the team for sessions of 10 – 12 hours.

The Team is made up of the Coordinator and a group of 45 professionals who collaborate every day in providing the service entrusted to us.

Recovery:

Our management was entrusted with the Nursing Service relating to the pre and post-operative phases. The nursing staff is responsible for identifying the patient, evaluating the questionnaires and ascertaining and verifying consent.

Subsequently, the staff monitors the patient, managing the administration phase of pre anesthesia and antibiotic prophylaxis. The post-operative phase follows, from taking deliveries, to evaluating the intervention and the type of anesthesia administered as well as any complications.

Our professionals accompany patients to discharge or to the observation phase in the ward, in relation to the type of intervention in day hospital or in hospitalization.

The team is made up of 5 professionals who collaborate every day in providing the service entrusted to us.

Anesthesiology and nursing assistance service:

Our management was entrusted with supporting the Anesthesiology and Nursing Medical Service of two operating blocks, one located on the head office and one located on the CTO structure. The team of specialists is made up of professionals with specific and proven experience in the specialties of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Hand Surgery, a sine qua non for accessing the working group.

The team, made up of 13 resources involved twice a week in complex interventions lasting 7 hours per session, is made up of the Anesthetist, the Room Instrumentalist and the Room Nurse, and is managed by the Coordinator.

Our Nurse professionals are entrusted with the activities ranging from induction to awakening the patient in collaboration with the Anesthesiologist and the Instrumentalists with the organizational, managerial and operational activities in collaboration with the surgical team, while our Anesthetists professionals are entrusted with the activities planning of the anesthetic conduct and management of the intervention.

Department of orthopedic surgery:

the Nursing and Care Service of an important 34-bed ward was entrusted to our management.

The Team, made up of Nurses and Social Health Operators, collaborates daily with the medical staff for direct assistance to the patient and cooperates with the Physiotherapists for rehabilitation activities.

The nursing staff takes care of the patient’s care, serving three shifts: morning, afternoon and night and in continuity of assistance for all days of the week.

Our professionals are entrusted with nursing care for hospitalized patients from both the operating room and the emergency room, within a path of care and assistance that leads to discharge at home or to a specialized rehabilitation center.

Our Social Health Operators are entrusted with the activities of support, monitoring of vital parameters, sanitation, disinfection and sanitation of the devices and the patient, in constant and continuous support with fellow nurses.

The Team is made up of the Coordinator, the group of 15 Nurses and the 6 Social Health Operators who assist the patients entrusted to them.
